Julie Archibald
LMHC (She/Her)
I welcome clients who are grieving losses, making difficult decisions, and wanting a better way of living. I think laughter is still the best medicine.
Julie Archibald is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Washington.
I have provided therapeutic treatment since 2003. I have worked with clients (men and women) in both group and individual settings. Some of my work has focused on teaching relationship skills and using CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) with clients struggling with addictions and behavioral issues. I am presently working with clients who have control, abuse, and codependent issues. I welcome clients who are grieving losses, making difficult decisions and wanting a better way of living. Last, but not least, laughter is still the best medicine.
I believe the counseling process is meant to provide safety, education, and guidance for the client on their path of discovery, uncover, and recovery using active listening skills, empathy, mindfulness, and modeling a healthy relationship with respect for boundaries. I believe good counseling means meeting the client where they are and guiding them to where they want to be.
