I enjoy using Ecotherapy techniques to strengthen the deep connection between our mental health and the natural world.
Debbie Tomasovic is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Washington State.
I’ve provided therapeutic treatment to individuals, couples, families, and groups since 1994. I treat relationship issues, anxiety, life transitions, trauma, and most general counseling issues. I have extensive experience helping folks learn about codependency and develop healthy boundaries in their relationships and life. I’m trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and use this tool with clients overcoming trauma or enhancing their strengths. I have used Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) in individual and group counseling to teach valuable life skills. In addition, I facilitated domestic violence groups and anger management classes for men and women for 15 years. I provide counseling for couples who are dating, premarital, married, separating, gay, lesbian, and straight.
I have extensively studied Ecopsychology, which provides a strong foundation to my Eco Therapy practice. Eco Therapy explores the deep connection between our mental health and the natural world. I present workshops and trainings to the community and other professionals in the field. I have provided clinical supervision to therapists seeking licensure as Marriage and Family Therapists and Mental Health Counselors.
