Piper Brown
Resilience is an innate strength we all carry. I support clients in exploring their personal stories, history, and experiences to honor their journey, build self-awareness, and cultivate emotional well-being. In a safe, inclusive, and compassionate space, individuals are empowered to challenge limiting beliefs, develop coping strategies, and thrive authentically.
Piper Brown Disclosure Statement
I hold a Master of Science in Trauma and Crisis Intervention Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University, along with a Master’s in Movement Direction from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, and certifications in Yoga and Hypnotherapy. This diverse background allows me to bring a creative, holistic, and integrative approach to therapy, recognizing that each person’s journey is unique.
I welcome teens (16+) and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem challenges, and life transitions. I am committed to providing BIPOC- and LGBTQIA+-affirming care in a safe, inclusive, and compassionate space. I also support survivors of domestic violence, individuals coping with grief and loss, and those exploring gender identity and expression. In addition, I work with college and higher education students who are seeking support with time management, self-care, academic stress, and maintaining balance in their personal and academic lives.
Using a solution-focused, client-centered, and trauma-informed approach, I integrate evidence-based techniques such as Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Somatic Therapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS), tailoring each session to the client’s needs. My goal is to help clients reframe thought patterns, cultivate self-awareness, and access their inner resilience to achieve emotional well-being on their own terms.
