Kate Zipse Disclosure Statement

I show up to therapy with a warm, grounded, and collaborative approach. I draw from mindfulness, somatic awareness, self-compassion, and attachment-informed care to support clients who are navigating anxiety, shame, relationship patterns, identity exploration, and life transitions. I care deeply about creating a space that feels transparent, paced, and attuned to each person’s nervous system, so therapy doesn’t feel rushed or overwhelming.

I believe healing happens through safety, curiosity, and learning to listen to the body as a source of wisdom rather than something that needs to be fixed. My hope is to help clients reconnect with their inner authority and develop a kinder, more trusting relationship with themselves. I’m especially drawn to working with queer, neurodivergent, and gender-expansive adults who may feel sensitive, overwhelmed, or disconnected from their sense of self. I’m currently completing my MS in Mental Health Counseling at Prescott College.”
