 Emma Bjorklund Disclosure Statement

I approach counseling from a person-centered perspective; you know yourself best! I am enrolled at George Fox University in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. Additionally, I am completing my Trauma-Informed Counseling Certificate. Life can be a difficult and daunting experience. With the unknowns and constant twists and turns, everyone needs a helping hand occasionally. I am passionate about assisting individuals through the hardships and complications of life.

I believe that humans are resilient, strong, and resourceful. While we are resilient alone, those around us can also help us thrive. I think our systems and relationships make us strong in life. I am passionate about working with individuals through trauma, life transitions, family problems, stress, and depression. I am experienced in grief and loss. I view therapy in a humanistic approach, individuals will work to identify their own self-efficacy and self-resilience. I practice in a person-centered, systems-based, and trauma-informed approach. You know you best, and you deserve to be happy and healthy.
