Dena Alt is a Washington State Certified Counselor and Nationally Certified with PCIT International as a Parent-Child Interaction Therapist and Trainer

My goal is to transform tough relationships between parents and their children using the Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) model as well as helping parents to better understand and more effectively communicate with their neurodivergent children. I love to laugh, I am a little quirky, a lot compassionate, and love to join families on their journey to bring more peace into their homes. I have held titles such as Special Education Teacher, School Administrator, and Counselor for almost 30 years. I have worked in a variety of settings; home-based services, residential settings, with families involved in the child welfare system and in foster homes. I have worked in both public, alternative, and private schools, as a teacher trainer and as a private consultant for mental health providers.
