Azya Ripley

Student Therapist (She/Her)

I feel deeply honored to be invited into people’s stories and to walk with them toward healing and freedom. My heart is to create a space where you feel safe, truly seen, and never alone in what you're facing.

 Azya Ripley Disclosure Statement

I am currently completing a Master’s degree in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling as well as Clinical Mental Health Counseling at George Fox University. I believe that everyone deserves a space to heal. Each person carries a story that’s shaped them, and it’s a true honor for me to come alongside you wherever you are in that journey. My approach to counseling is gentle, collaborative, and rooted in empathy—I’m here to listen with care and hold space for whatever you bring. I want you to feel safe, respected, and deeply seen.

I welcome and value all backgrounds, identities, and beliefs, and it’s important to me that you feel fully accepted just as you are. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) in my work so I can meet each person with what best fits their unique needs. My experience includes supporting teens and young adults through my work at Youthline, a crisis line where I completed 53 hours of mental health training.

I also hold certifications in safeTALK and Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST). I’m especially passionate about walking with couples, teens, and individuals navigating anxiety, depression, or major life transitions. With couples, I’m especially passionate about helping partners strengthen their emotional connection and grow together in deeper understanding, trust, and closeness.
