I believe that the counseling relationship is a powerful and healing connection. Everyone has the capacity within themselves to grow, develop, and integrate healing into their daily lives. My intention is to use this relationship to create a safe and trusting space to explore client goals. I draw from a person-centered, existential, and gestalt theoretical orientation. I enjoy exploring purpose, meaning, cognitive distortions, and quite simply being present within the client’s worldview. In addition, I also focus on highlighting the client’s strengths, resilience, and developing healthy coping tools. Everyone comes from a unique background which shapes the way they interact with their environment. My overall goal is to empower, connect, support, and create long-lasting wellness. Finally, I appreciate the power of nature, mindfulness, and spirituality in the healing process.
I enjoy working with clients who are motivated to learn about themselves on a deeper level.
