Jessica Calderon
A big part of my work is inner child healing, where I support clients in reconnecting with unmet childhood needs, processing past child-hood trauma experiences, and learning how to show themselves compassion in a new way, and bring joy into their life again.
Jessica Calderon Disclosure Statement
I like to keep therapy active and engaging. I often encourage clients to work on things outside of session, whether that’s through weekly tasks, reflective writing, or simple, manageable goals. Sometimes that looks like 5-minute goals just starting small to build consistency and confidence. I may incorporate journaling, mindfulness, emotional awareness exercises, or practicing coping skills in real-life situations.
Together, we will set clear short- and long-term goals and work toward progress that feels meaningful and achievable. I truly value feedback and see therapy as a collaborative process where we adjust along the way to best support you.
My work focuses on helping clients build self-awareness, regulate emotions, and take care of themselves in ways that feel realistic and sustainable. I also like to incorporate creative approaches like music, journaling, and art when it fits the client’s needs.
Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time with my four cats, going to the coast, walking, exercising, and practicing self-care. I’m also really passionate about rescuing cats and supporting community efforts like trapping and helping animals in need. I love thrifting and starting my day with a good cup of coffee 😊
